When he is sent a video clip of his wife taking part in an orgy, he suspects that she has been abducted as part of an elaborate game of cat and mouse and a war of one-upmanship escalates out of control. Can he ever become humble enough to apologise for the original slight and will that be enough to save his wife’s life.

A skinny and precociously cynical 12-year-old boy, goes on the run with his mother from her abusive boyfriend. But now that they are alone together on a beautiful beach, the years of accumulated resentment and mistrust leave each of them isolated.
After nearly drowning in the sea, the boy finds himself on an extraordinary journey into parallel worlds and alternate realities where he encounters a mysterious and mischievous old man, who is alternately charming, infuriating, childlike and wise. Only through the delightful revelation of the old man’s true identity does the boy discover what home really means and learn to reclaim his childhood.
